Jewellery Sizing Guide | Ring, Bangle & Bracelet Sizes UK

Finding the right jewellery size ensures your rings, bangles and bracelets are comfortable to wear every day. This jewellery sizing guide explains how to measure your ring size, bangle size and bracelet size at home using simple methods. Use the charts and tips below to find your perfect fit before choosing a piece from the Kerry Gallop Jewellery collection.

How do I Measure My Ring Size at Home?

The most reliable at-home method is the paper strip technique:

Cut a thin strip of paper approximately 10mm wide. Wrap it snugly around the finger you intend to wear the ring on, but not too tight, or not too loose. Mark where the paper overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres. This is your finger circumference. Divide by 3.14 to get the diameter, then compare with a standard UK ring size chart to find your size.

Alternatively, you can print our ring sizing guide and use it directly.

Important Notes:
• Wider bands will feel tighter on the finger than narrow bands. If you are ordering a wide ring, consider going up half a size.
• Body temperature affects finger size - warm fingers can swell, while cold fingers can shrink slightly.
• This guide is a helpful tool, but ring sizing can vary slightly depending on ring style and band width.
• If you are unsure, we highly recommend visiting a local jeweller for a professional measurement.

How do I Measure My Bangle Size?

How to Find Your Bangle Size Image

Position your thumb across your palm towards your little finger, as if you were about to slip on a bangle. Gently squeeze your hand into its narrowest shape. Wrap a flexible tape measure or a strip of paper around the widest point of your hand in this position and note the circumference.

Your bangle needs to pass over this point to reach your wrist, so this measurement is your minimum fit. A well-fitted bangle will slide on without too much force and sit comfortably without spinning or slipping off.

If you already own a bangle that fits well, you can also measure its internal diameter from edge to edge and use that as your reference.

How do I Find My Torque Bangle Size?

How to Find Your Torque Bangle Size

Torque bangles are fitted differently to standard bangles because they slip on from the side of the wrist rather than over the hand. You measure your wrist, not your hand.

Wrap a soft tape measure or strip of paper snugly around your wrist just above the wrist bone, where a bangle would naturally sit. Keep it close-fitting but not tight. Note the circumference and compare with the sizing guide below.

If you already own a torque bangle that fits well, measure its internal diameter across the widest point from edge to edge.

If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size for a snug, secure fit or the larger size for a slightly more relaxed feel.
