My Journey to Jewellery Making

I’m Kerry Gallop, the maker behind Kerry Gallop Jewellery. My journey into jewellery design began as a childhood fascination, turning paper beads into wearable art. Over the years, that passion grew, evolving from beading and wirework to mastering the art of silversmithing through a mix of local classes and self-teaching.

For years, jewellery making was my creative refuge, a space where I could immerse myself in craftsmanship and self-expression. As the demands of my career grew, I found myself longing for something more fulfilling. The pressures increased, the sense of purpose faded, and I felt a growing disconnect from what truly brought me joy.

Then came the turning point, the moment I chose to follow my heart. I left my career behind to pursue what truly ignites my passion: creating meaningful, sustainable jewellery that speaks to individuality and self-expression.
